Q1. How to use The Coder application?
To scan a coded imaged, hold the device 10cm to 18cm from the image horizontally and focus the camera. Once the camera is focused, scan the image for 3-5 seconds. Once the image is scanned, the smartphone will alert the user and a URL link will appear at the bottom of the screen. These links are saved in The Coder's History tab and can be accessed after the initial scan. To scan a coded sound, have the application opened or running in the background and once a coded sound is recognized, the smartphone will alert the user and a URL link will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Q2. Can The Coder's Application recognize any types of images and audios?

Q3. Which languages does The Coder support?
Currently, This application supports Korean, English, and Chinese. Thai, Indonesian, and Spanish are coming soon.

The Coder's scan list is able to save up to ~2000 links.
Q5. Is it possible to request an application with similar functionalities as The Coder?

Q6. What should I do if the The Coder's application does not work well?
First, confirm that the image is well lit enough to be scanned. If too dark, utilize the light flash function within the app. If the image is still not scanned, then attempt to vary the distance between the image and your device. Scan accuracy is dependent on a smartphone's camera specifications. If the image is still not scanned, please contact info@thecoder.co.kr
Q7. How much does The Coder's application drain my smartphone's battery?
It drains the battery as much as using the smartphone's camera does.
Q8. What happens if two or more sound codes are recognized at the same time?
The Coder's application reads the most recognizable data first and links to the given URL. The consecutive sound codes are recognized and stored chronologically.
Q9. Is there any concern of inadvertent disclosure of personal information?
The Coder's application does not need personal information, so the user does not need to worry about disclosure of personal information; however, It is able to collect location information with the user's consent.
Q10. How to use The Coder application?
It is around 10mb. So any kinds of other application could be embedded within a short time.

No, It can be applied on any type of paper. No extra cost. No special Paper.

It can recognize The Coder's image coding data, sound coding data, barcode, and QR code to provide a product's authentication or promotional video, link to a purchase page, etc.

Q14. Is it possible to request an application with similar functionalities as The Coder?
First, a QR code itself mars the original design, while The Coder's image code is invisible. Moreover, The Coder's image code can be applied on nearly every surface except liquid. Second, QR codes can be copied and rescanned; however, copied The Coder's images cannot be scanned to retrieve data, making it suitable for authentication and security. Third, it is difficult or impossible to scan a QR code if the image is damaged. On the other hand, The Coder's images can be damaged or torn and still be scanned. Last, a QR code has a fixed URL while The Coder's image code has a flexible URL that can be changed at any time.
Q15. What should I do if the The Coder's application does not work well?
No, It does not require a user authentication procedure.
Q16. How much does The Coder's application drain my smartphone's battery?
Deleting individual items on the scan list is possible. Slide the chosen item to the left and click the delete button.
Q17. What happens if two or more sound codes are recognized at the same time?
No. It also can be used with off-line mode. The Coder's application has limited functionality without an Internet connection.
