

To scan a coded imaged, hold the device 10cm to 18cm from the image horizontally and focus the camera. Once the camera is focused, scan the image for 3-5 seconds. Once the image is scanned, the smartphone will alert the user and a URL link will appear at the bottom of the screen. These links are saved in The Coder's History tab and can be accessed after the initial scan. To scan a coded sound, have the application opened or running in the background and once a coded sound is recognized, the smartphone will alert the user and a URL link will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Last, a QR code has a fixed URL while The Coder's image code has a flexible URL that can be changed at any time.
